Welcome
The overarching goal of the Armstrong lab is to characterize leukemia on a genome wide scale and to study the relationships between leukemia and normal stem cells. The information gained from these studies is used to assess potential new therapeutic approaches for the treatment of patients with leukemia. Once an idea is validated in preclinical models we work with our clinical investigator colleagues to translate these ideas into assessment in clinical trials. We believe these studies will lead to the development of more effective and less toxic therapies for patients.
